Lifting Up Jesus & Making Him Known
Our desire is to help people discover a personal relationship with Jesus, to grow deeper in that relationship, and to spread the gospel through church partnerships and church planting locally and around the world.
Our Purpose
Love God
Mark 12:30 “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”
We recognize that we cannot love God properly until we trust Him fully. We must first place our faith and trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord. After this, we strive to love Him more and more each day.
Grow Together
Acts 2:46 “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house…”
We need other believers around us in order to GROW. Jesus gave us the church which is an assembly of believers together. We grow by meeting together and taking steps of obedience as the Holy Spirit speaks to us.
Serve Others
1 Peter 4:10 “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Galatians 5:13c “…by love serve one another.”
We have been called by God to serve others. Further we have been given a gift by God in order to serve. At Cornerstone we want to provide opportunities to serve other believers as well as our lost community.
